Affiliated Organizations – Fundraising Details:
Dovetail Associates is looking to partner with service groups in their fundraising efforts. Dovetail Associates will consider these groups to be affiliated organizations, and will make available to them a wide range of fundraising options related to Dovetail Associates’ green screen video parties. Affiliated organizations can be PTA’s, PTSA’s, scouting groups, or other service groups, as long as they have promoted the fundraiser(s) among their members. For any member of an affiliated organization who books a green screen party with Dovetail Associates, Dovetail Associates will donate 10% of the proceeds of this event to their affiliated organization, provided that the member indicates their affiliation at the time of making the reservation. Becoming an affiliated organization is simple to do, and can often itself be a fundraiser! You can become an affiliated organization by doing one or several of the following…
Communicate with all the members of the organization via e-mail or newsletter about the offer, and provide a link to the Dovetail Associates website. (The link can be provided either in the e-mail, the newsletter, and/or on the organization’s website).
(For organizations larger than 50 families): Arrange for us hold an actual green screen party at one of your organization’s events! We could bring our green screen to your school carnival, or the silent auction portion of a fundraising auction (for the parents to have something fun to do while they are “shopping”), or other all-school or all-organization event. The organization is welcome to set the price per participant as they see fit, above the price that Dovetail will ask, namely $10 per participant. Participants will be able to view their video on our computers at the event, and then videos will be made available for download on our password-protected website 2-4 weeks after the event. Maximum of three people being filmed on the green screen at a time… we can accommodate up to 12 filming sessions per hour (three filming sessions every 15 minutes).
(For organizations larger than 50 families): Same as the option above, except that instead of holding the party “live” at the event (such as the fundraising auction), there is a sign-up sheet placed out with filming session time slots listed for a party to be held at a later time. The organization is responsible for arranging space where Dovetail Associates will hold this party. Same pricing and parameters as above… there is no maximum number of participants, but Dovetail Associates would ask for a minimum of 12 filled time slots for this event. Dovetail Associates will make available a portable DVD player with a looped video that can be played in order to help promote this event, and can send a Dovetail staff member to facilitate the sign-ups if desired.
